What cookies are
Cookies and similar technologies make it possible to store or retrieve information on the device you use to visit a website.
What cookies ipcore uses
ipcore uses essential cookies to remember consent preferences and, only with express consent, Google Ads to measure the results of its ads. To understand site traffic it uses Plausible Analytics, a measurement tool that sets no cookies or identifiers on the device and cannot identify individuals; it therefore requires no consent and does not appear in the preferences panel. Google Ads is not enabled until the user accepts advertising cookies.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
ipcore_cookie_consent | ipcore | Store your cookie choice so it is not requested on every visit | 12 months |
_gcl_au | Google Ads | Attribute a submitted inquiry to a previously seen ad | 3 months |
_gcl_aw | Google Ads | Remember a click on an ipcore ad in order to measure its result | 3 months |
The Google Ads tag loads in the "denied" state (Consent Mode v2): until the user accepts advertising cookies it sets no cookie and reads no identifier from the device, and the signals it sends to Google are aggregate and anonymous. Only after the user expressly accepts advertising cookies does it switch to "granted" and use the cookies listed above.
Google explains the use of these cookies in its Google Ads documentation and how it processes information in its Privacy Policy.
ipcore uses advertising cookies to know whether an inquiry came from one of its ads and to show ipcore ads on other sites to people who have visited the website. It does not use this service to make automated decisions about individuals.
Google may process this information in the United States. The transfer is covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, to which Google LLC is certified, under the European Commission adequacy decision of 10 July 2023.
Consent management
On the first visit, a banner is shown with the actions Accept all, Reject non-essential, and Cookie settings. Accept and reject are offered at the same time and with equal prominence.
Google Ads cookies remain disabled until the user expressly accepts advertising cookies. Rejecting them does not prevent access to the content or the sending of an inquiry.
The Cookie preferences panel allows you to review and modify separately:
- Essential cookies: always active, for basic functions and to remember your choice.
- Advertising cookies: optional and disabled until consent is given.
Your choice can be changed or withdrawn at any time via Cookie settings, permanently available in the footer. Withdrawing consent must be as easy as giving it.
Closing the banner, continuing to browse, or reading this policy does not constitute consent.
Browser
You can also delete or block cookies from your browser settings. The procedure depends on the browser and the device.
External services included in this version
- Google Ads: optional advertising measurement; the tag runs without cookies ("denied" state) until consent.
- Plausible Analytics: aggregated audience measurement, without cookies or identifiers, hosted in the European Union; no consent required.
- Google Maps: only via an external link initiated by the user; no embedded map is loaded within the website.
- Form: server-side processing through ipcore's existing flow.
YouTube, Vimeo, chat, reCAPTCHA, Cloudflare Turnstile, social pixels, and other tracking scripts are not included. If any is added, the banner, the preference panel, the privacy policy, and this policy must be updated first.
Updates
ipcore will update this policy whenever the cookies, the measurement tools, or their purposes change. The table above must match the site's actual configuration.
